Sensory Materials Library Dataset

Sensory Material Library Dataset 2025 The Sensory Material Library (SML) is a textile material dataset that was motivated by research building Human-centred AI design tools related to the Design, Brand and Retail Space. It combines features of conventional material libraries, sensory properties from our human experience in textiles research. Note: due to the 100 file limit on Zenodo, we have uploaded the materials in separate .zip files with pairs of materials. Each zip file contains two materials, and unzips into the same ```data/``` directory. Version 2 of the dataset has the material metadata included in materials.xlsx.
