Dataset for: Genotypic Dataset of In Situ Native Potato Varieties from the Andenes de Cuyocuyo Agrobiodiversity Zone

This dataset comprises native potato varieties conserved in situ within Peru’s first Agrobiodiversity Zone, generated as part of the project “Fortalecimiento de la conservación y uso sostenible de variedades locales de raíces y tubérculos andinos libres de enfermedades en la Zona de Agrobiodiversidad (ZABD) Andenes de Cuyocuyo–Puno”, funded by the STC–CGIAR initiative (2023–2026). A total of 222 accessions were genotyped using 31,031 SNP markers obtained with the Illumina Infinium GGP v4 Potato SNP array. This dataset supports comprehensive analyses of genetic diversity, population structure, and the genetic representativeness of in situ conserved native potato varieties within this key Andean agrobiodiversity hotspot.
