This dataset supports the article:“Archaeological Landscapes as Lenses for Long-Term Regional Transformation: An HLC-Based Analysis of the Arslantepe Mound and Its Surroundings (1951–2024)” The dataset contains spatial and analytical materials used to examine long-term landscape transformation in the Arslantepe region (Eastern Türkiye) through a Historical Landscape Characterisation (HLC)-based approach. Contents of the dataset include: HLC-based spatial datasets for multiple temporal layers (1951, 1975, 1999, 2019, 2024) Processed GIS database (file geodatabase format) used for spatial statistical analyses Variable definitions and coding scheme for HLC attributes Spatial statistical workflow documentation (Moran’s I, LISA, Kernel Density) Supplementary analytical outputs used in the article Digitised participatory mapping outputs (GIS-converted versions) These materials are provided to support transparency and reproducibility of spatial analyses and to enable peer reviewers and researchers to evaluate the methodological framework applied in the study. Note:Certain geophysical survey datasets are not publicly shared due to project-based access restrictions but can be made available to editors upon reasonable request for peer-review purposes.
