Repeated synoptic sampling for water chemistry monitoring in the Yvel catchment, northwestern France

This resource includes water quality samples collected within the Yvel catchment (375 km²), located in northwestern France. These data were collected to with the purpose of evaluating the spatial variations in water chemistry across the river network of a mesoscale catchment. We collected river grab samples every two weeks for 18 months (31 dates). We measured 17 water chemistry parameters for all water samples, including different forms of P (soluble reactive phosphorus [SRP], total dissolved phosphorus [TDP], total phosphorus [TP]), C species (dissolved organic carbon [DOC], dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC)), anions (NO3-, NO2-, F-, Br-, Cl-, SO42-), physicochemical parameters measured with in-situ sensors (temperature, pH, dissolved O2, conductivity), aromaticity, and specific ultra-violet absorbance at 254 nm [SUVA254].
