2.26 City Clerk PRR Fulfillment Rate (summary)

City of Tempe utilizes JustFOIA to process most public records requests. Requesters submit requests through JustFOIA. In-person, mail, e-mail, and phone requests are also received and entered in JustFOIA and processed whenever possible. Each department will process records for their area. Record requests will have a standardized processing period which depends on the type of record(s) being requested. This dataset includes all processed records for all departments processed through JustFOIA. Members of the public can also obtain published records and/or information without making a request, through sources such as the City of Tempe’s website www.tempe.gov, online in databases, Tempe’s Open Data Portal at open.tempe.gov. For each completed request, the allotted days are compared to the days in queue. If a request was completed within their standardized processing period (alloted days), they are marked "True". A percent is calculated that includes all public records requests completed within their standardized processing period "True" divided by all public records requests completed during that same time period.
