Obtaining enantiopure compounds is vital for pharmaceutical, agricultural, and fragrance industries, considering a pair of enantiomers possess distinctive biological or pharmaceutical effects. While membrane-based chiral separation offers cost-effectiveness, low energy consumption, and high capacity, the facile preparation of high-quality chiral separation membranes for industrial application remains challenging. Therefore, this thesis focuses on the design and implementation of three enantioselective composite membranes based on advanced materials including a homochiral poly(2-oxazoline) and homochiral microporous materials, showcasing exceptional capabilities in chiral separation. Through these efforts, this work contributes to the ongoing advancement of enantioselective membranes, highlighting membrane technology's significance in enantioselective separations.
