Continuous river water quality monitoring data from the Rivers Taw and Torridge, north Devon, UK sampled between November 2024 and March 2025

Water quality data from Rivers Taw and Torridge, north Devon, collected automatically at 15-minute intervals between November 2024 to March 2025. Data were collected in collaboration with Westcountry Rivers Trust for a pilot study under the UK Government Shared Outcomes Fund Coastal Health programme.

Data were collected automatically by AquaTROLL water quality sondes deployed in river for duration of study. Real-time data were transmitted via telemetry link to the HydroVu platform (https://www.hydrovu.com/), from which they were downloaded in .csv format. Data were quality controlled to check for data gaps and apply range checks.
