资源简介:
Turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate (epsilon) as calculated from microstructure temperature observations collected by a FP07 fast thermistor mounted on a Seaglider (SG620). Epsilon has been calculated using two methods: the Batchelor spectrum method (epsilon_mu) and the Thorpe scale method (epsilon_T). SG620 was deployed between January and February 2020 from the RV Meteor (cruise M161) in the western tropical Atlantic, northeast of Barbados, as part of the EUREC4A air-sea observational campaign. SG620 occupied a bowtie pattern 10 km across centred at 14º 10'N 57º 20'W. Standard hydrographic observations collected by SG620 during this deployment are available under DOI doi:10.5285/c596cdd7-c709-461a-e053-6c86abc0c127.
