A 2015 Scottish SAM for UKCCSRC project

This is a 2015 Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) with the industrial sectors aggregated so that it enables a specific industrial decarbonisation project funded by the UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Centre (UKCCSRC). The main body of this SAM has been created using the 2015 Scottish Input Output tables published by the Scottish Government as well as other government publications such as the Government Expenditure & Revenue Scotland (GERS) 2014/15 and 2015/16. This SAM was used to calibrate the AMOSENVI Scottish CGE model in order to study the economy-wide impacts of introducing industrial decarbonisation solutions that require costly capital investments.
