Study on global ageing and adult health - 2006

The purpose of the SAGE survey programme is to collect data on a broad range of self-reported assessments of health and well-being. An individual's self-rated health will be linked to anchoring vignettes and selected objective measures of health to:<br><br>-Improve comparability across individuals, communities and populations;<br><br>-Assess performance on measured tests in a range of different domains of health;<br><br>-Measure well-being, happiness and quality of life;<br><br>-Collect biomarker information;<br><br>-Introduce a longitudinal study design; and,<br><br>-Investigate compression of morbidity in adult and aging populations.
