Dataset for Domain-Dependent Phenotypic Positioning of Liaodan Black Pigs Relative to Liaoning Black and Duroc Populations at a Common Target Body Weight
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the study entitled “Domain-Dependent Phenotypic Positioning of Liaodan Black Pigs Relative to Liaoning Black and Duroc Populations at a Common Target Body Weight”. The study included 60 finishing pigs from three source-defined populations: Liaoning Black (LB), Liaodan Black (LDB), and Duroc (DR), with 20 pigs per population (10 barrows and 10 gilts). Pigs entered the formal trial at 70 days of age, were individually housed under standardized three-phase feeding, and were slaughtered within a common target live-weight range of 106–114 kg. The dataset includes animal-level analytical data, underlying technical measurements, longitudinal body-weight and feed records, intramuscular fatty-acid composition, protein-hydrolysate amino-acid composition, diet composition, and a data dictionary. Animal_ID provides the linking key across the animal-level data files. The dataset is provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary verification of the analyses reported in the associated study.
