Highlights of the Psyche Environmental Assurance Program

Environmental requirements for the Psyche missionwere established early in the program, and a comprehensiveenvironmental test and analysis implementation program wasdeveloped as the spacecraft design matured. Several designscope changes happened during development (for example,changed magnetometer design and vendor to an internationalinstitution), and the test program adjusted accordingly. Theenvironmental test program included numerous assembly-levelmission-qualifying tests, which fed into the system-levelenvironmental test program with focus on spacecraft levelverification.
