Monitoring network for hydrobiological parameters in the shellfish farming areas of Normandy (HYDRONOR, SMEL)

Based on observations from approximately 14 sampling stations in shellfish water bodies along the eastern and western Cotentin coasts, the network has been monitoring 14 hydrobiological parameters since 2000:

Physical parameters: temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidityChemical parameters: nutrients (ammonium, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, and silicate)Biological parameters: suspended and organic matter, chlorophyll a, and pheopigments

Sampling is conducted twice a month.
