Tui chub (Siphateles bicolor) are a long-lived minnow native to a variety of inland freshwater habitats in the western United States. Several subspecies endemic to western drainages are of conservation concern due to habitat alteration, hybridization, and the introduction of non-native species. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
