Mapping the response of human osteocytes in native matrix to mechanical loading using RNA sequencing

Aim: To identify differentially expressed genes by mapping the response of human primary osteocytes in their native matrix to mechanical loading using RNA sequencing. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data of osteocytes in human cortical bone, which was not loaded or mechanically loaded by 2000 or 8000 µ? for 5 min, followed by 0, 6, or 24 h post-culture without loading.
