Context dependent function of transcriptional regulator Rap1 in gene silencing and activation [ChIP-seq II]

As part of a study on the function of Rap1 at HML and MAT in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, we performed ChIP-seq on myc-tagged Sir3 in cells with and without a Rap1 binding site mutation at the promoter.本研究以酿酒酵母（Saccharomyces cerevisiae）为研究对象，旨在探究Rap1在HML与MAT位点的生物学功能。在此研究框架下，我们对启动子区域携带或缺失Rap1结合位点突变的细胞，开展了针对经myc标签标记的Sir3的染色质免疫共沉淀测序（ChIP-seq）实验。
