资源简介:
This dataset contains the experimental data from a study examining how teachers' assessment of students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) is influenced by students' lower-order thinking skills (LOTS) performance. The research employed a 2x2 between-subjects design with four experimental conditions manipulating LOTS (high/low) and HOTS (high/low) levels. The dataset includes teacher demographic information (gender, professional experience in years), raw scoring data for three open-ended questions assessing analytical skills (on a 0-5 point scale), experimental condition assignments, response timestamps, and qualitative justifications for scoring decisions. This data supports research on cognitive biases in educational assessment and enables replication of the study's main findings regarding teacher judgment processes in social studies contexts.
Key Words: teacher assessment, cognitive bias, higher-order thinking skills, lower-order thinking skills, educational measurement, experimental design
