Understanding whether LRRK2 mediates neuroinflammation triggered by PD and AD misfolded proteins using in vitro and in vivo models.

Aim 2:

Exploring whether and how LRRK2-related neuroinflammation affects hiPSC-derived neuronal function.

Aim 3:

Exploring whether hiPSC-derived neurons carrying LRRK2 mutation/variant are more vulnerable to neuroinflammation.
