Low coverage genome sequencing of the Mediterranean cone snail, Lautoconus ventricosus. DNA was extracted from a piece of muscle tissue. The specimen was adult, stored in ethanol after collection and dissected back in the lab, where DNA was extracted using the Qiagen DNEasy Blood and Tissue kit. Dual-indexed cDNA libraries were constructed for each sample using the TruSeq Nano DNA library Prep kit (Illumina, San Diego) at Macrogen (Seoul, South Korea) following manufacturers instructions.
