Beyond Early Gains: Evidence from a Village-Based Parenting Program on Child Development in Rural China

The dataset is an individual-level dataset focusing on early-life environments, primary caregiver characteristics, and child development outcomes. It includes both baseline and follow-up measures, as well as a set of constructed indices used in the empirical analysis. The dataset provided in this repository is the final analysis dataset used to generate all main empirical tables reported in the paper. Analyses related to cost-benefit calculations and selected appendix tables are based on external data and non-Stata computations, and are therefore not included in this dataset.
