资源简介:

# Data and Code for "Flying Squirrel–Inspired Whole-Body Morphing Enhances Drone Stability, Agility, and Maneuverability" This repository contains the source data and MATLAB scripts required to reproduce the figures presented in the *Nature Communications* paper: **"Flying Squirrel–Inspired Whole-Body Morphing Enhances Drone Stability, Agility, and Maneuverability"** (Zheng et al., 2025). ## 💻 System Requirements The code has been fully tested and verified on the following systems: * **Windows:** MATLAB R2023a * **macOS:** MATLAB R2025a *No additional specific hardware is required. Standard MATLAB toolboxes may be required depending on the plotting functions used.* ## 📂 Repository Structure The repository is systematically organized by figure numbers corresponding to the manuscript. Each folder contains the specific data and the MATLAB script used to generate that figure. ### General Structure for Figures For most figures (e.g., `fig2`, `fig3`, etc.), the directory structure is as follows: * `figX/` * `data/`: A subfolder containing the raw or processed data files required for Figure X. * `NC_figX.m`: The MATLAB script used to plot Figure X. ### Specific Notes on Datasets * **`fig1/`**: This folder contains the script to generate Figure 1 and the dataset `gliding_mammals_data.xlsx`. The morphological data of gliding mammals provided in this spreadsheet is sourced from the following book: > *Jackson, S. M. (2012). Gliding mammals of the world. CSIRO Publishing.* *(Note: Please refer to the manuscript for the detailed context and analysis of each figure.)* ## 🚀 Usage Instructions To reproduce the figures from the paper: 1. Download or clone this entire repository to your local machine. 2. Open MATLAB (R2023a, R2025a, or newer recommended). 3. Navigate to the specific figure folder you wish to reproduce (e.g., `fig3/`). 4. Set that specific folder (e.g., `fig3/`) as your Current Folder in MATLAB to ensure the script can correctly locate the `data/` subfolder. 5. Open and run the corresponding script (e.g., `NC_fig3.m`). ## 📝 Citation If you use this code or data in your research, please cite our paper: > Zheng, L., van Zuijlen, A., & Hamaza, S. (2025).
