Dynamic transcriptional landscapes of single nuclei in the post-ischemic brain

Ischemic stroke, a leading contributor to global mortality and disability, arises from ischemia-induced neuronal injury, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal vulnerability and recovery remain elusive. Here, we performed single-nucleus RNA-sequencing to delineate the transcriptomic landscapes of murine ischemic cerebral hemispheres during acute and recovery phases, elucidating dynamic molecular and cellular responses to ischemic injury.
