Additional file 3 Enriched Gene Ontology (GO) terms and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways of sex-specific DEGs under heat stress. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) specifically changed in females, pseudomales, or males in comparison of heat-stress (HS) vs. control (CT) groups were subjected to GO enrichment analysis and resulted significant GO terms (p < 0.05) were listed in Sheet 1. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of these sex-specific DEGs was listed in Sheet 2 (p < 0.05).
