A comparison of primate abundance, forest composition, and conservation scenarios across forest fragments in Costa Rica

These data were used to compare on the ground data of forestry metrics to conservation scenarios (protected areas, incentivized conservation, and non-incentivized conservation) across two areas in Costa Rica, and then used to compare conservation scenarios to the primate community abundance and distrbution. The first item, "Forests Across Cons Secnarios" contains data collected across 78, 150 meter squared nested plots from 2017 to 2018. The second item, "Primates Community per Forests and Cons Scenarios" compares forestry metrics in the first dataset to the group encounter rate of the pirmate communtiy collected in 2019 across protected areas and incentivized forests.
