Mungbean is an economically important legume crop used as food, vegetable,ingredients and even medicine. To explore the genome diversity, we assembled a high-quality reference genome(Jilv 7) and pan-genome for mungbean by deeply sequencing a high yield variety and 217 accessions. Important agronomic traits, such as yield components, grain composition, morphology and insect resistance, were observed for these accessions and associated with their genome sequences. Significant SNPs and candidate genes were identified for almost all traits. These results would build a solid foundation for genomic breeding in mungbean.
绿豆(Mungbean)是一类兼具粮食、蔬菜、烹饪食材乃至药用原料价值的重要经济豆科作物。为探究其基因组多样性,本研究通过对1个高产栽培品种及217份种质资源开展深度测序,成功组装得到绿豆高质量参考基因组(冀绿7号,Jilv 7)与泛基因组(pan-genome)。针对上述种质资源,本研究观测了产量构成、籽粒组成、形态性状及抗虫性等重要农艺性状,并将这些性状与其基因组序列进行关联分析。最终,本研究在几乎所有观测性状中均鉴定出显著的单核苷酸多态性(Single Nucleotide Polymorphism,SNP)位点与候选基因。本研究结果将为绿豆的基因组辅助育种奠定坚实的科学基础。
