Brettanomyces naardenensis is an acetate producing Crabtree negative yeast. The yeast was isolated from soft drinks with pH ranging from 2.6-3.2. Brettanomyces naardenensis is a yeast with potential for biotechnological applications, in particular for production of drinks with low alcohol content. Here we present the genome of Brettanomyces naardenensis CBS 754 (Y922).
