BRUV survey and metadata SY ridge

This dataset contains baited remote underwater video (BRUV) survey data collected off Sdot Yam, Israel, in the eastern Mediterranean Sea between 2024 and 2025. The surveys encompass rocky reef, mixed-substrate and soft-sediment habitats across a range of depths. The dataset includes: Event filesA compressed archive containing the files defining or documenting the annotated observation events for each BRUV deployment. EventMeasure outputsA compressed archive containing the measurement and annotation outputs generated for the identified events. Fish abundance dataA tabular dataset containing raw fish abundance values for each taxon recorded during each BRUV deployment. Individual deployments are identified using the unique OpCode field. Deployment metadataA table containing information associated with each BRUV deployment, including deployment identifier, location, geographic coordinates, survey date and time, camera system, water depth, temperature, seabed type, seabed form, habitat complexity and analysis status. The fish abundance and metadata tables can be linked using the OpCode identifier. Raster-derived water depth values are included in the metadata. The dataset is intended to support analyses of fish community composition, species abundance, habitat associations and spatial ecological patterns in the eastern Mediterranean.
