In multiple cropping systems, irrigated crop (vegetable or fodder) was cultivated after a dominant rainfed crop (maize or teff). The multiple cropping systems were evaluated with the baseline condition (a single cropped rainfed teff or maize) to assess their outcome across the SIF domains.
