Integrated multi-omic analyses of the genomic modifications by 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone metabolites in TNFalpha-stimulated primary human brain microvascular endothelial cells. We exposed human brain microvascular endothelial cells to mixture of 2 metabolites of 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone after they have been exposed to TNF. Total RNA has been extracted and expression of mRNA, miRNas, snoRNAs and lncRNAs has been obtained using microarrays. Primary human microvascular cells were acquired from Lonza. The cells, at the passage 5, were exposed to TNF for 4 hours, or without TNF for negative control. Following the TNF traitement, the cells were exposed to the mixture of gut metabolites for 20h. The metabolites were 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone-3′-sulfate (γVL3′G) and 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone-3′-O-glucuronide (γVL3′S)
