Literature Review for The Echoes of Contemporary Mystical Music_ Preserving Culture through Communication and Digital Diplomacy

This paper explores how the digital dissemination of contemporary mystical music functions as a tool of digital diplomacy in global communication networks and preserving culture. This study shows the several effects of this hybrid musical genre utilizing the theoretical frameworks of Intercultural Communication (ICC), Digital Diplomacy (DD), and New Public Diplomacy (NPD). We suggest that by combining modern forms with traditional spiritual aesthetics, modern mystical music actively preserves cultural legacy by guaranteeing its relevance and accessibility to numerous, younger listeners globally. Digital platforms assist to preserve this by transforming it into a dynamic, interactive process. Moreover, the genre represents an effective instrument for Digital Diplomacy which presents soft power assets—cultural values and national identity—as tools of influence. Its digital circulation empowers non-governmental cultural actors by fostering two-way, relationship-building interactions consistent with New Public Diplomacy ideas. Ultimately, this music improves Intercultural Communication by means of shared aesthetic and philosophical involvement, bridging cultural differences and promoting mutual understanding.
