Share of e-commerce and retail tech ventures in Nigeria 2022, by sub-sector

As of 2022, most e-commerce and retail tech startups in Nigeria specialized in multi-products. This referred to nearly 20 percent of 58 ventures. Moreover, retail-tech ventures represented a share of over 15 percent, while those operating in food, drinks, and groceries accounted for around 14 percent of the total. Overall, startups in Nigeria are concentrated in Lagos.
