FOOD SECURITY AND DIETARY PATTERNS IN COMMUNITIES LIVING IN PEOPLE’S HOUSING PROJECT SERI PANTAI, KUALA LUMPUR

Food security is a growing public health concern. Despite the pressing need for intervention, there is still a lack of comprehensive research surrounding this topic in Malaysia. This study investigates food security and its effects on dietary patterns and depression status among 311 residents of Block 100, People’s Housing Project (PHP) Seri Pantai, Kuala Lumpur. A questionnaire derived from the Malaysian Adult Nutrition Survey (MANS) and Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9) was used to collect data, with interpretation done using the IBM-SPSS Statistics Version 25.
