Organotypic slice cultures from prostate cancer patients were generated and treated with or without 17b-estradiol or DHT to study estrogen and androgen signalling pathways. Organotypic slice cultures from prostate cancer patients were generated and treated with or without 17b-estradiol (E2 ,10-7M) for 6 hours or DHT for 3 hours before harvesting. Gene expression profiles were analyzed and compared to controls. One replicate per treatment was performed.
