vigna radiata is a short duration crop with a life cycle of 60 to 80 days also known as green gram or mungbean, is one of the essential vigna species, rich in dietary proteins and minerals. Mungbean is widely cultivated in Asian countries. Mungbean is considered highly susceptible to salt stress. So the study focuses on to understand the underlying miRNA mediated mechanism of salt tolerance providing salt treatment to the mungbean genotypes by analyzing differential expression of miRNAs among the samples. The role of plant miRNAs has been experimentally validated as crucial mediators in regulating molecular signaling cascades in response to both drought and salinity stress.
