High-resolution Rat Local Field Potential Atlas (LFP-ATLAS) (v1)

This dataset contains 29983 local field potential (LFP) recordings obtained from 23 healthy and parkinsonian rat brains using distributed tungsten microwire arrays during free behavior in an open-field environment. More than 2000 recording sites were anatomically registered to Waxholm Space using X-ray computed tomography, covering 117 of the 222 structures defined in the v4.0 atlas. Complementary behavioral data are also included (synchronized body video tracking and inertial sensor measurements). In addition to the raw LFP signals, the dataset includes precomputed power spectral densities generated using both conventional Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)-based methods and the irregular resampling (IRASA) algorithm, which separates oscillatory and fractal components. Together, these multimodal data provide a convenient resource for exploring state-dependent and region-specific spectral fingerprints of large-scale neural network dynamics.
