Sacking jute goods consumption India FY 2009-2023

About one million metric tons of sacking jute goods were consumed across India in fiscal year 2023, a increase from the previous year. Nevertheless, the consumption of the sacking jute which was mainly used to store food grains had declined over the last decade, largely due to the steady increase in alternate packaging goods in the country.
