High temperatures severely affect the synthesis and translocation of photosynthetic products in leaves, which is detrimental to cotton yield. Transcriptomics technology can help us to better study the effect of high temperature on the physiological metabolism of cotton leaves and map the schematic diagram of the mechanism of leaves in response to high temperature. This study will provide new ideas for breeding cotton for heat tolerance.
