This series supersedes the series "Submissions for Approval by the Director-General of Education". The main difference is that the bulk of the records contain the replies, with the letter of enquiry, from members of the public and a limited number of departmental matters, and are not directed to the Director-General for approval. The series is arranged chronologically with each job placed in numerical order for the year. Box 10/31773 comprises miscellaneous unnumbered files for the period 1950-72. (10/31735-73). 39 boxes.
