Vertebrates impact on bacterial community structure of coastal Arctic snowpacks in the spring

A total of 39 surface snow samples were collected from four transects (Line A, B, C, D) closed to Polish Polar Station Hornsund (PPSH), Svalbard. Two transects (A, B) were established from the centre of a seabird little auk colony towards non-impacted areas along an altitudinal gradient, while two other parallel transects (C, D) were established closer to the coast.
