Single-cell profiling reveals tumor microenvironmental features and the role of activated B cells in cancers with liver metastasis

The liver is the common site for metastases of colorectal cancer (CRC), breast cancer, and lung cancer. In particular, more than 40% of patients with late-stage CRC develop liver metastasis(LM). However, key immune cells involved in liver metastasis are unknown. Here, we used single cell sequencing to identify key immune cells and study their function in the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) of CRC.
