Fragment of a female statuette

Orange-brown clay with a high mica content. Obtained from an overall flat shape. Of the female statuette, perhaps a depiction of Aphrodite, only the head bent sharply to his left and part of the left shoulder, on which a thick twisted lock of hair rests, have survived. The beginning of a corresponding strand of hair can be found on the right side of the neck. The small round face is made from a very flat shape. The long hair is parted in the middle of the forehead and pulled over the side ends of a tiara to the back of the head, where it is tied in a protruding bun. The crescent-shaped tiara is decorated at the bottom with a stepped ridge and a series of even indentations. Ear jewelery is indicated on the left ear, below which there is a slightly protruding, modeled strand or the end of a ribbon on both sides. The transition from the statuette body to the separately manufactured and attached head is clearly visible
