Deposition maps of reactive nitrogen over East Asia and Southeast Asia for 2000-2020

This dataset provides the mappings of reactive nitrogen deposition for East Asia and Southeast Asia for 2000-2020 at 0.25°´0.25° resolution. We developed the relationship between site-measured nitrogen deposition and emissions, meteorological and geographical information via an ensemble machine learning approach.  The accuracies of the product were validated by ten-fold cross-validation and independent tests, which suggested a reasonable mean correlation coefficient (0.77).

This dataset contains the following files: the “Data File” contains the annual wet deposition (Dwet) and dry deposition (Ddry) of NOy and NHx distribution maps for every five years of 2000 - 2020. The “Readme File” lists the units of the variables and specific species of wet and dry deposition.
