Weekly streaming or downloading of TV series or movies in the U.S. 2018-2021

A total of 77 percent of U.S. survey respondents reported streaming or downloading TV series or movies on a weekly basis in the United States as the fourth quarter of 2021, down from 80 percent who said the same in the final quarter of the previous year. As more media consumers turn to video streaming, traditional TV consumption is decreasing, with viewing dropping each year consecutively since 2017.
