资源简介:
Ethics Clearance Reference Number: 2023FEBEFREC-STD-023This research investigates whether optimising the procurement process within a manufacturing organisation improves its efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall management practices. Data collection focused specifically on this objective. A quantitative approach was employed, using a structured questionnaire administered to employees directly involved in the company's procurement process. The questionnaire primarily utilized a 5-point Likert scale, ranging from "Strongly Disagree" to "Strongly Agree," to gauge employee perspectives. Anonymous, printed questionnaires were distributed to all procurement department employees company-wide. The questionnaire was divided into four sections: Section A explored traditional procurement methods and their effectiveness; Section B investigated the potential synergy between traditional and modern methods; Section C examined the possibilities of using procurement software; and Section D sought to determine the necessary level of human interaction in a newly implemented procurement system.
