All data are stored in the file with the format of ''.mat'', which can be accessed by the MATLAB function ''load''. The data for producing Figure 1 are saved in the file ''figure1_data''. The fieldname ''plume'' and ''noplume'' in the struct ''ray'' store the ray paths of MS waves for different initial azimuthal angles from 0° to 350° with spacing of 10° in the magnetosphere with and without a plume, respectively. The data for producing Figure 2 are saved in the file ''figure2_data''. The struct ''ray'' store the ray paths of MS waves at four different frequencies for different initial azimuthal angles from 0° to 350° with spacing of 10°. The data for producing Figure 3 are saved in the file ''figure3_data''. The struct ''ray'' store the ray paths of MS waves launched at six different MLTs for different initial azimuthal angles from 0° to 350° with spacing of 10°. The data for producing Figure 4 are saved in the file ''figure4_data''. The fieldnames ''mlt'' and ''phi'' in the struct ''dat'' store the initial launching local times and azimuthal angles, respectively. The fieldnames ''plume'' and ''noplume'' in the struct ''dat'' store the wave maximum local time migration, minimum radial distance and their types in the magnetosphere with and without a plume, respectively.
