A semi-structured questionnaire was used to gather data as it provides a clear set of instructions for interviewers and can provide reliable, comparable data (Kothari, 2004). The questionnaire was designed on Kobo collect to collect quantitative data such as demographic, most preferred GALS sessions and improvements as a result of GALS training through face to face interviews.
