Public Behavior, Gender, and Culture in Kerman, Iran

This dataset is the outcome of a survey conducted in Kerman, Iran. The survey explores how culture and gender affect public space behaviors/intentions comparing two neighborhoods of the city; one which is more conservative and restricted regarding Islamic ideologies, and one which is more open and progressive (Item: Neighborhood Status). The data presented here is a segment of the full dataset, which is a part of a larger research plan. The survey has been monitored and approved by the ethics committee of Easter Mediterranean University. The survey uses a Likert scale and includes 25 items rendering 6 variables.
