Dataset of 100 Israelis (65 experimental, 35 control) who played PeaceMaker in Palestinian role

A dataset of 100 Israeli participants, consisting of an experimental group (n=65) and a control group (n=35), to which students were randomly assigned. All students completed a pre-test on May 19th, 2026. Experimental group students played the PeaceMaker game for 30 minutes assuming the Palestinian role, while control group students were not involved in any intervention. All students completed a post-test a week later, on May 26th, 2026. The data collection was conducted during a non-violent period of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, approximately two and a half years after the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, which escalated on Oct. 7th, 2023, and during the ongoing war of Israel and the USA against Iran, which started in February 2026. Questionnaires measured their hope and expectations for peace in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
