Genotyping-by-sequencing in the domestic pig (Sus Scrofa domestica) and Wild Boar (Sus scrofa scrofa)

In this research, we studied two groups of animals, one consisted of domestic pigs (Landrace, Large White, Duroc, and Pulawska) and the second one included wild boars from Poland. To find markers that are able to differentiate these two groups of animals, we used genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) approach. GBS libraries were prepared according to previously described protocol (Elshire et al. 2011) with few minor modifications. Raw, demultiplexed reads are submitted to SRA database.
