The original dataset for exploring the the effect of air pollution on catastrophic health expenditure among middle-aged and older adults.

This dataset includes longitudinal data on catastrophic health expenditure and air pollution, and relevant covariates for middle-aged and older adults. Both demographic (e.g., age, male, married, urban, schooling years, per capita household expenditure, drinking, smoking, household size, cooking fuel, activities of daily living difficulty, chronic disease, and medical insurance) and weather characteristics (e.g.,temperature bins, precipitation, relative humidity, and air pressure) were included. The dataset was used to explore the the effect of air pollution on catastrophic health expenditure among middle-aged and older adults in China.
